Exploring thankfulness and a free gratitude printable

It’s Thanksgiving this week for my friends south of the border.

Let’s have a chat about thankfulness.

As you know, I’m already a fan of gratitude in business and gratitude in life. I shared some of my thoughts about being mindful and thankful when we celebrated Thanksgiving here in Canada. You can read here for tips and benefits incorporating the practice of gratitude into your business.

And this week is no different!

Well, maybe it’s a little different. We are also coming upon the season of giving so I have a little gift for you as well! I’ve put together a gratitude printable for you. The cards are small enough to be placed on your desk or tucked into your planner to keep your gratitude practice going strong on a daily basis.

These printables were designed in half-letter and A5, so wherever you are in the world you’ll be able to print them easily.

I’m thankful for…

  • my family who continues to support me in making my business dream a reality
  • beautiful clients who seriously brighten my day on a regular basis
  • friendships that have grown strong with time
  • my ability to have so many ideas (even if I don’t always have enough time to action them)
  • the access I have to healthcare, food, and great shelter
  • the friends who have stuck by me through thick and thin with minimal judgement but all the support

Try it…

For one month, write 3 things you’re grateful for every single day.  These entries don’t have to be grand and they don’t all have to be wins within your business.  For example,  you may be disappointed you didn’t reach an income goal for this month, but you can be thankful for having shown up in your business each day and stretched to implement some new strategies which you can tweak for next time.  Remember the idea of this is to intentional focus on the positives.  They are there, I promise!

To make this a consistent practice, studies have shown new habits are most likely to stick if they are attached to a habit already in place, such as drinking your morning coffee.  Let me know how that goes!
